The PDS garage sale is off to a great start. Thanks to the families that have delivered items for the sale and have volunteered to help with pre-sale organization and the day of the sale.
In order to make this sale a huge success, we still need more items to sell. And it's not too late to deliver items for the sale. If you (or friends and family) have items you'd like to donate, please deliver them to school no later than Thursday, June 18th. If you have items that are too large to be delivered, please contact us and we'll arrange to have someone pick them up.
Miss Amy will be the team leader for our car wash. We need students on campus to help make this a success. Please contact Miss Amy in the office if your child will be participating. Please note parents will need to remain on campus while their child participates in the car wash.
Here is a list of items that sell well at garage sales and items we still need donated or to borrow for the sale:
THESE ITEMS SELL WELL
- Fishing poles and fishing gear
- Tools
- Purses
- Shoes
- Jeans/shorts/dresses
- Big things (furniture, bicycles, etc.)
- Jewelry
- Dishes/glassware
- Linens (sheets and bedding, tablecloths)
- Toys (all clean & unbroken, but especially Littlest Pet Shop, Star Wars, Legos)
OTHER DONATIONS NEEDED
- Items for our bake sale (Donuts, store bought and home baked items)
- Coffee cups, napkins, small plates
- Bags of Ice
- Car wash supplies (soap)
ITEMS TO BORROW:
- Stand up fans for outside workers
- Tables (the more the merrier - keeps things neat)
- Place to hang clothes/hangers (portable clothing racks)
- Car wash supplies (rags, towels, buckets, hoses)
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:
- Item Pick-up (we need someone with a truck that would be willing to pick up larger items or items that people can't deliver to school)
- Students to help with the Car Wash
We will arrange for a local charity to come and pick up items left over at the end of the sale.
