Poinciana Day School is a small, non-sectarian, non-denominational school serving students from kindergarten through eighth grade.
We have only one class per grade. The average class size is twelve (12) students with an absolute maximum of fifteen students in any grade. Our kindergarten class has two Montessori trained teachers sharing a class of no more than eighteen students.
Families are attracted to Poinciana's challenging academic program and creative nurturing environment. At Poinciana there is a strong emphasis on the fine arts, as well as language arts, math, and science.
We invite you to call and schedule a visit. In fact that is the first step in our admission procedure.
After the family tours our school, we arrange for the prospective student to spend the day with the appropriate class. On that day the student's parent(s) meet with either the Head of School or Asst. Head of School.
